Protection Baby Blanket

In Blackfeet culture, powerful animals like the buffalo, wolf, and elk are often called upon in song and ceremony for protection. Artist John Isaiah Pepion (Piikani/Blackfeet) has woven the sacred buffalo, elk, wolf, otter, magpie, and beaver into his Protection Baby Blanket. An arrow fills the body of each animal, representing the lifeline or sacred breath each one carries. Made from a cotton/wool blend, John's blanket is the perfect merge of warmth, durability, breathability, and comfort. Woven in tradition and beauty, wrap your baby in love and protection with our Protection Baby Blanket.
