In our Lightning And Thunder Pet Collection, Eighth Generation has partnered with Pueblo of Laguna artist Pat Pruitt and sustainability-minded manufactures to create four iconic pet products fit for Fido, stupendous for Sassy, and perfect for your pet.
Pat has adapted his iconic Lightning And Thunder design for our Lightning And Thunder Pet Bowl. Blue and white zigzags slash across a dark blue field of high-quality ceramic. Pat's design symbolizes thunder, lightning, and life-giving rain. "In our culture, thunder and lightning symbolize the coming of Shiwana, the rain, and its importance to life here in the desert," shares Pat. "I hope this design brings the feeling of that calm before the storm that is filled with electricity and sound. The feeling becomes an engaging experience, especially when you know what is coming next . . . the rain."
Our Lightning And Thunder Pet Bowls are produced by the same Certified Minority Business Enterprise (i.e.: Minority Owned Business) that produces Eighth Generation's ceramic mugs and tumblers. Headquartered in the USA, their goal is to craft products with environmentally-conscious materials, and have taken the highest care in creating our ceramic Lightning And Thunder Pet Bowls.
