In a shaded forest, a streak of sun shines bright upon 12 blooming heart-shaped flowers, sharing one sturdy stem. From pink, red, yellow, to purple, blue, and white, Bleeding Hearts come in a variety of beautiful natural colors. These lovely companion flowers can be found sharing a home under Salmon berries, vine maples, red cedar, and Douglas-firs. Stirling MacArthur (Snoqualmie) has brought this Pacific Northwest icon to blossom across his Bleeding Heart Enamel Pin.
"Bleeding Hearts are a sign of spring, one that tells you that the dark days of winter are behind you. I want people to wear my enamel pin and feel excited that they made it through winter. I want them to think about all of the possibilities of what the year will bring," Stirling shares.
A part of our Souvenirs of Summer Capsule Collection, the Bleeding Heart Enamel Pin is one of six special items designed to capture the beauty of summer in the Pacific Northwest. From magnets to enamel pins, Stirling's Souvenir Capsule captures the beauty and significance of everything the Snoqualmie area has to offer.
